CCJ Demo - Casio Chill Jam #1 2022 - Planète Casio

CCJ Demo is a PoC (Proof of Concept) featuring classic artistic effects from the 80s/90s demoscene on gint. This program was coded in less than 48 hours during CCJ 2022 (Casio Chill Jam) organized by Planète Casio.
Included effects:

  • Plasma: hypnotic effect created by palette rotation in an image, giving the illusion of movement,
  • Blobs: effect based on merging diffuse circular shapes,
  • Lens: lens distortion effect on an image,
  • Stars: a starfield effect,
  • Rain: rain falling on an image with ripple propagation and overlap,
  • Matrix: the name says it all,
  • Fire: burning fire effect at the bottom of the screen,
  • Julia: exploration of Julia fractal sets,
  • Mandel: dive into the Mandelbrot fractal set,
  • Flybobs: how many sprites can be displayed on screen?
